Municipal Facilities Replacement Project Update – July

Next Project Stage (Fall 2023) – Local Approval and Funding Authorization via Special Town Meeting and Debt Exclusion Election (dates TBD)

Following adopting option 5B (centralized Police, Fire, and Public Works facility at 524 Depot Street with a new fire substation at Dailey’s Corner – Washington and Main Street) by the Municipal Building Committee in October 2022, the project entered schematic design. The design team finalized the feasibility study report in February 2023, and the project is now advancing towards critical community milestones – including presentation of final project scope of work and estimated budget and associated voter approvals for the project – are coming this year.
